I think Payet has tired a bit towards the end of the season understandably with the intensity of the Premier League after playing in France.
Against Man Utd in a 'quiet' game he set up 2 goals and had a really good chance to score in the first half.
I think he will be as good if not better next season now that he knows the league & we hopefully add another couple of quality players who take the pressure off him.

I don't think Payet has been at his best in recent weeks yet he still has played a role nearly every goal we have scored so we will miss him but equally it gives someone else the opportunity to deliver.
Personally I think any game away on the last day is tough as home sides tend to raise their performance to send their fans off happy, I reckon both us and Liverpool will struggle to get wins today but Southampton will cruise to victory so they will finish 6th on goal difference in my view.

Liverpool will put out the sort of team they did at Swansea and get beaten just as easily.
No way you would risk the likes of Coutinho , Sturridge & Firmino on a Sunday before a Wednesday European final.

Stoke have got a fair few injuries, including two keepers, so we should still have more than enough to get past them.

Lanzini missed most of the games as well when Payet was out injured. Without both we are seriously depleted but with Lanzini today will be fine.

Got a bad feeling about today. We have the hardest game out of any of the teams involved in the scrap for 5th and 6th, Southampton and Liverpool have gimmes. A win without Payet is a rarity too, got a feeling we need someone to do us a favour today as I can't see anything but a draw.

Club are hardly going to shout it from the rooftops and let Stoke know are they !
He's not been at his best in open play recently but we'll def miss his set piece delivery

Is this the same type of "out" as Martial on Tuesday? Oh he's out. He'll be back for Bournemouth. West Ham game has come too soon for him. We can't risk him.
